  THE PILGRIM STATUE OF
     OUR LADY OF FATIMA

  Home-to-Home Visitation Program

The Pilgrim Virgin Home to Home Visitation Program
began at St. Catherine of Sienna's parish in the
Marian year on Saturday, September 5th 1987.

Monsignor Minogue celebrated Mass and blessed
the Pilgrim Statue of Our Lady of Fatima with
  a beautiful ceremony.

We at St. Catherine's are privileged to have
the Home Visitation Program in our parish. Individuals
or families who wish to encourage devotion to Our
Blessed Mother can request to have the Pilgrim
Statue come into their home for one week.

The Statue of Our Lady of Fatima has a jeweled
crown, a golden rosary and a scapular placed in her
hands. When the Statue visits your home,
there are welcoming prayers to greet
the Blessed Virgin Mary and the rosary is
prayed together. Everyday during the visitation
of the statue time is set aside for everyone
to gather around the altar, which the
family has prepared and the rosary is recited.

A closing ceremony and Mary's Litany is
prayed at the end of the week. Thus the Pilgrim
Statue of Our Lady of Fatima moves to a new home
and the welcoming ceremony begins again, resulting
in many prayers said to Our Lady Queen of Peace.

As the Blessed Mother's Statue continues
her journey through our parish she showers
her blessings of peace and tranquility
in all the homes which have welcomed her.
With every home visitation, devotion to Our Lady
 grows deeper and more devout.

In honor of the Blessed Mother, many rosaries,
prayers and petitions are offered to promote
 world peace and brotherhood.

Each year the Pilgrim Statue visits the
church on two occasions. The first visit on
  September 8th commemorates the Blessed
Mother's Birthday and the anniversary of
the program and on December 8th for the
 Feast of the Immaculate Conception
and the conclusion of the Spiritual
Adoption Program.

If you are interested in reserving a
week for a beautiful opportunity
to express your love and devotion to
Our Blessed Lady, you may call the
